UPDATE: COVID-19 SECOND NOTICE
To Our Loyal Clients:
Amidst our countries continued fight against COVID-19, we are taking precautions to keep our employees, funeral directors and their families safe at the graveside. As instructed by the NCBVA (National Concrete Burial Vault Association), due to the limited supplies of disinfectants and protective gear we have already discontinued the use of chairs, chair covers and tent sidewalls until further notice. This action is necessary due to our inability to easily disinfect and to enable social distancing.
There have been many requests from funeral homes regarding our employees serving as pallbearers. As we would love to assist the funeral in any way we can, due to the limited supply of PPE we have instructed our employees to make their own decision in this matter. If our employee is not comfortable pallbearing, they are not required to do so.
In addition, regarding graveside committal services, our employees are to provide assistance of placing the casket on the lowering device ONLY IF THE family procession IS NOT present. Our employees have been notified not to approach the graveside if the family is present. Once the procession leaves the graveside, our employees will then return to complete their work.
I would like to thank you for your time and understanding during these unprecedented times. As situations evolve, we will keep you informed to the best of our ability. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office.
